KEIR Manufacturing offers unique high-performance composite flyer bows by combining aerospace technology with a revolutionary tri-axial braiding process. KEIR’s fully braided Standard and BackBone bow constructions have greater durability than layered/laminated designs allowing them to take more hits and endure higher stress equating to increased operating life and less machine downtime.
Applying advanced aerospace analytical and fabrication techniques, KEIR evolved a broad range of significantly improved flyer bow products. This is an ongoing effort directed at providing even greater
toughness to withstand wire hits and improved aerodynamics, allowing higher wire line speeds while reducing bearing loads and machine noise. A wide range of guides and roller assemblies are available to handle the most demanding applications for all types of wire.
The more aerodynamic BackBone design functions at lower power consumption backbone bow (up to 40% less energy) and higher TPM, resulting in improved wire quality and a further reduction in bow breakage.
