Founded KEIR Mfg., Inc. at age twenty-six after moving to Brevard, NC to purchase the assets of a failed technical ceramic manufacturer of textile thread guides. David’s early career was with Boride Products Inc. which produced nuclear ceramics for control rods, abrasive dressing sticks and mold polishing stones as well as tungsten carbide and boron carbide sandblasting nozzles.

David has four patents. He continues to be the lead the technical development of both products and processes at KEIR. In recent years he has not been involved in day-to-day operations but focuses on new product development, acquisitions, as well as strategic planning.

David has a BS Degree from the University of Michigan in general studies with an emphasis in business management.

David is very involved in his community serving in leadership positions on numerous boards over many years.

Mac retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after serving as a full colonel in assignments around the world, then Joined KEIR in 1999. He exemplifies the “Can-Do” spirit of KEIR and is an expert on working through complex problems with a level head. Mac sets to tone and the expectation for how we do business.

Mac introduced new organizational management theories to KEIR to improve our effectiveness.

Mac has a BS degree in forestry from Clemson University. He worked for Olin Corporation at the Ecusta Paper Division as a facilities manager prior to electing to serve full-time in the Marines from the reserve corps.

Wanda started at KEIR in 1995 in a production position in the finishing department and was quickly promoted to shipping and receiving then quality control. Wanda was our principal inside sales contact for several years until she was put in charge of operations of all product lines in 2008.

Wanda has developed a highly responsive, self-directed workforce that performs at exceptional efficiency and timeliness to complete on-time and above expectations. She manages an exceptionally broad product range, employing diverse technologies and serving multiple industries. She does this without line supervisors by empowering everyone to be accountable and responsible to each  other as well as our customers.

As a result, KEIR has satisfied customers and a happy workforce.

Kenneth Greene is someone you want to know. His deep practical knowledge of wire processing comes from nearly forty years of hands-on experience in various leadership roles within one of the highest performing wire plants in the United States. Starting as a supervisor, then cell implemention coordinator, continous improvement coordinator, manager of Production Control, and finally fourteen years as Materials Manager Kenneth knows far more than most about the issues of wire and cable production and how to solve them. He also is very effective because of his easy smile, personal integrity and a tenacious persuit of solutions.

Kenneth has graduated from a life’s experience of constant improvement. He joined KEIR to begin a new career in sales and is a natural at connecting customers to productive solutions to their problems.
