KEIR’s patented SureShot and SplitShot Air Wipes provide a far more effective drying method vs. other air wipe manufacturers, blower units, air nozzles, etc. The objective is to completely dry the product with minimum use of compressed air, saving re-occurring cost associated with scrap, rework and energy.
The efficient designs are tailored to the product OD. Comprised of Delrim or CPVC housings (acid resistant), 99.8% Alumina ceramic inserts, with stainless steel and polypropylene hardware, the air wipes are rugged and long lasting. Inserts can also be specifically engineered for rectangle, oval and unique profiles.
Customized air wipe development and designs to meet challenging or unique applications in extrusion, plating, drawing and other processes are available.
KEIR has recently introduced new models of air wipes with a down drain for excessive water control issues and a new hinge-lock to hold the air wipe open for operator ease of use during set-ups.
